What 247Verdict is — and isn't
247Verdict is a research-led comparison site, not a hands-on testing lab. We don't run products through a test bench, and we will never pretend we have. What we do instead is read the specifications, the manufacturer documentation, the warranty terms, and — critically — the aggregated verdict of thousands of verified buyers, then synthesise that into a clear, honest recommendation.
How a product earns a place
- A verified Amazon rating of 4.0 stars or higher at the time of research;
- A meaningful base of customer reviews (we treat a few hundred as the practical minimum);
- An established brand with verifiable support and spare-parts availability;
- A current Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com listing.
The Verdict Score (0–10)
- Performance (40%): how well it does its core job.
- Build quality & reliability (30%): materials, warranty, brand track record.
- Value for money (20%): performance relative to its price band.
- User experience (10%): setup, cleaning, storage, daily use.
How we build comparisons
- We only compare products people actually cross-shop. We don't pit a £15 product against a £1,500 machine just because they're in the same category.
- We allow draws. When two products are genuinely matched, we say so and route you by need rather than inventing a winner.
